Hunter and The Dirty Jacks Debut Single, “Jubilee”
Blues Rockers Hunter and The Dirty Jacks have released their debut single, “Jubilee,” alongside B-sides “Salt Whiskey” and “Smoking Gun.” “Jubilee” opens with a Neil Young-esque harmonica on top of a bluesy guitar lick. The song maintains a solid groove throughout while soulful vocals anchor the chorus. Both “Salt Whiskey” and “Smoking Gun”are perfectly suited as B-sides alongside “Jubilee.” “Salt Whiskey” is a foot-stomping, acoustic blues jam that will have you humming along while pouring yourself a stiff drink. “Smoking Gun” is along the same vein as “Jubilee” and fans won’t be disappointed. You can listen to the single via SoundCloud and it can be purchased through iTunes.
The blues rock visionaries continue to impress audiences in clubs across the west coast. The band is also still residing at their weekly residency at Harvelle’s Santa Monica, and collecting money to feed the homeless, and teach foster children music.
