Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig have taken their relationship to the next level, exchanging vows just weeks after their former spouses, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, got married in a private ceremony of their own.
The Melrose Place actor and the immigration attorney celebrated their wedding at a New Jersey farm, surrounded by close family and friends. Their marriage marks another milestone in a relationship that began after both had gone through the breakdown of their previous marriages.
While their romance initially attracted attention because of the circumstances surrounding Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig have since found a happy ending of their own.
Andrew Shue And Marilee Fiebig Celebrate Their Wedding At New Jersey Weeks After Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes’ Nuptials
Shue, 59, and Fiebig, 49, exchanged vows on Sunday at their New Jersey farm in an intimate ceremony attended by loved ones, according to the Daily Mail.
The bride wore an off-the-shoulder white lace gown paired with a matching shawl, open-toed heels, and a delicate half-veil. Shue, meanwhile, kept his look traditional, choosing a suit and black dress shoes without a tie.
Fiebig’s 13-year-old daughter, Sabine, whom she shares with Holmes, was also present for the occasion. She wore a floor-length navy blue dress. Shue’s sister, actress Elizabeth Shue, was among the family members who attended the celebration.
The wedding came shortly after the couple publicly revealed their engagement in October. However, their commitment to one another had been growing for some time, as they had been dating for approximately three years before taking this step. Their nuptials also came just weeks after Robach and Holmes reportedly married in Arkansas on September 19.
The Couple’s Romance Blossomed After Their Marriages To Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes Ended
Shue and Fiebig’s relationship began attracting public attention in December 2023, following the end of their respective marriages. Their connection emerged around the same period that their former spouses, Robach and Holmes, were making headlines over their own romance.
The relationship between the former ABC colleagues became public in November 2022, when they were spotted together outside the Good Morning America studios.
At the time, Robach was still married to Shue, while Holmes was married to Fiebig. The controversy eventually led to both personalities being taken off their hosting duties on GMA3 in January 2023.
However, Shue and Fiebig’s growing connection was not simply a response to the situation involving their exes.
A source previously told Page Six that their bond had developed into something deeper, explaining, “It turned into something else, and they’re connected over their values. It’s bigger than [the affair] now.”
Robach and Shue had married in 2010 and remained together for 13 years before their separation in 2023. Holmes and Fiebig also married in 2010, with their relationship lasting 12 years before their divorce.
As both marriages came to an end, Shue and Fiebig found companionship in each other, eventually building a relationship that has now led to marriage.

Andrew Shue Reflects On The Pain Of His Previous Marriage To Amy Robach
Before finding happiness with Fiebig, Shue had to come to terms with the end of his marriage and examine his own role in what went wrong.
In an interview with People Magazine, the actor spoke about the personal lessons he gained from the experience, describing the process as one that required honesty and humility.
“I had to accept my own part in marriage not working out for me and in not understanding myself well enough and not understanding what matters in a relationship well enough to find the right person for me,” he explained.
The actor added that reaching that understanding had been “an extraordinary gift.”

Shue also acknowledged that moving forward involved enduring difficult moments and learning from them.
“I had to grow through a lot of pain and a lot of struggle and a lot of humility,” he said, before reflecting on how his understanding of love had changed. “I think the magic of love is when you go from a need to giving.”
The actor further described his relationship with Fiebig as something that developed unexpectedly. He explained that their circumstances gave them an opportunity to get to know one another while both needed a friend.
Despite the unusual way their paths crossed, Shue expressed gratitude for how things turned out, telling the publication, “I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending.”
The Two Couples Continue To Maintain A Cordial Relationship
Although their relationship histories remain connected by the events that brought them into the public eye, Shue, Fiebig, Robach, and Holmes appear to have established a workable dynamic. A source told Page Six that the former spouses maintain a civil relationship, largely because of Sabine, Fiebig and Holmes’ daughter.
“They’re all cordial and friendly because they have to be for Sabine,” the insider explained, while making clear that the connection does not necessarily extend beyond that. The source also praised Shue and Fiebig, describing them as “such nice people” who are “so happy and in love.”
The insider further suggested that the couple’s personalities have helped keep tensions from developing between the four. “They’re very much alike. They’re both so kind and sweet, so there couldn’t be bad blood if they tried,” the source said, adding that they were happy their relationship had worked out.
With both couples now married, the chapter that began with a highly publicized relationship controversy has taken a different turn. Shue and Fiebig have built a future together, while maintaining a cordial connection with their former spouses as they navigate their shared family ties.
