Cliché: Tell us about your character in a couple sentences.
Brittany Rizzo: Lollipop is just an awful stripper. She thinks by just standing there and looking cute she’ll make money. She clearly needs to go back to school!
Have you ever played this role in your own personal dating life?
No, I cannot say I’ve ever been a stripper!
What do you like/dislike about your character?
I love the innocence behind her. She really just has not a clue what’s going on around her.
Tell us your most memorable experience while shooting this series.
When I filmed my scene I was licking a giant lollipop. I whipped my hair around in one shot and the whole thing got stuck to my hair! It wasn’t fun trying to get that out.
How did you come to be a part of this project?
Lauren Patrice Nadler has seen my improv skills in class where I can play with different characters. She thought I could add a fun twist on a stripper.
What was is like working with your long time teacher wearing the director hat?
Lauren Patrice Nadler is incredible. Her passion is contagious and she is full of great ideas.
How collaborative or how much freedom did you have to “play” or improvise on set?
Lauren is really encouraging with all her students and cast. She has a way of making you feel very comfortable and free with the comedic choices you make because she trusts us. It’s really great.
What was the funnest part of shooting this episode?
The men I was dancing for were yelling the funniest things at me to get me to dance. It was hard to keep a straight face!

I also got to do some hands-on work on this episode and style some of the hair. It was fun working on and off screen.
