If you could give our readers one tip on how to channel their own personal style, what would it be?
I would recommend finding five pieces you adore wearing and remix your look. By adding different accessories, a bold-colored clutch, or a new jacket over a collared shirt for a different flare, it is still your style. It’s just channeling your inner trendsetter. Make your style stand out with something you didn’t think would look so amazing together.
Scenario time! Finally, after a long week of work, it’s date night! You two are ready to take on the town together—well, a local restaurant and movie at least. What do you wear for yourself and your cutie?
She Said: I enjoy wearing black with a hint of color. I would wear a pair of black pleather skinny pants, dramatic peplum top, and strappy black high heels. Accessorizing with my red Hammitt VIP clutch, Ruby Woo lipstick, and loose curls top off my go-to look for our date night. Let’s also not forget my Chance Chanel perfume; I can’t leave the house without it. I always try to wear something he gave me or loves me in. Pleather pants are his favorite.
He Said: I have been wearing my dark denim 7 For All Mankind Jeans with a graphic tee that she bought me recently. I add my charcoal grey sports coat and brown lace-up boots. I know she likes when I do my hair instead of wearing a ball cap, so I do my hair and add my Suunto watch she bought me for my birthday. I know she loves going to dinner, so we usually have our date night at a new restaurant in town.
Do you have any fashion icons?
I really love Rachel Zoe’s style. It is ever evolving, yet she always maintains her signature look: a flared denim 70s vibe.
