The “Undone Tousled Style”
Patti Smith showcases “a vivid portrait of bohemian New York in the late ‘60’s and early 70’s,” which was the style presented in Rebecca Minkoff’s Fall 2015 collection. Following the influence of Smith’s own “androgynous, rock-inspired style,” she has also included styles from icons such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Grace Slick. Smith’s collection has “guitar strap-inspired embroideries, structured leather jackets and pants, mixed prints, and military denim,” which are just some of the many “current Indie rock style renaissance” looks in her collection. Orlando Pita, a Hair Stylist for TRESemmé, created an undone tousled style using TRESemmé’s New 2015 Collection to top off this look.
Orlando’s Tips:

  1. Spray hair generously with TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Sea Salt Spray and blow dry gently, scrunching hair to create an effortless, tousled texture
  2. Apply TRESemmé Runway Max the Volume Root Lifting Cream to hair for additional body and lift.
  3. Add texture to bangs and throughout hair by creating bends with a flat iron, alternating the direction of the iron down the length of the hair.
  4. Spray hair with TRESemmé Perfectly Undone Brushable Hold Hairspray to finish the style.
