6. Packaging
It’s no secret that garbage is not great for the planet. And boy, do we have a lot of it. Lots of beauty products (shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, etc.) come in bottles and containers that are made of hard, non-biodegradable plastics that can’t be recycled. Though it’s a huge bummer if your favorite brand falls into this camp, it’s probably worth the future of our earth to venture further down the beauty aisles to try and find a more eco-friendly product, right?
