Apart from dropping hits, the rapper-businessman has been making boss entrepreneurial moves. As previously reported by AFROTECH, over the years, he has invested in real estate, cannabis, restaurants, health care, and more. The ventures include having secured nearly 30 Wingstop locations.
“After tasting Wingstop’s signature Lemon Pepper-flavored wings in Miami, I knew this was a franchise I wanted to add to my investments,” Ross shared in a press statement.
The locations reportedly make him an estimated $200,000 annually and allow him to provide jobs.
“With Wingstop, we are bringing in the food I like and adding jobs to the community,” he said when opening his first Wingstop franchise in Memphis, TN. “It’s a double win.”
Earlier in November 2023, Ross took a moment from chasing billionaire status to make a pit stop at Austin, TX. On Nov. 4, to close out AFROTECH Conference 2023, Ross was the headliner of AFROTECH Music, which also featured Jadakiss, Saweetie, DJ Spinderella, Soulection’s Joe Kay, and DJ Hunnybee.
“Being the headliner at AFROTECH Conference music is more than just a performance to me,” Ross shared in a previous statement. “It’s an opportunity to inspire the next generation of hustlers, creators, and innovators. It’s a chance to showcase the power of hard work, dedication, and staying true to your dreams.”
