After over two months since the first song on his debut EP was released, singer/songwriter Ethan Thompson recently premiered his new song “Carry You Away” on his YouTube and SoundCloud page.
In a past interview with Cliché Magazine, the 24-year-old former American Idol contestant explains that the song is about “two people from different places, living in a city, and being each other’s escape,” and this sentimental love story unfolds in the cute and crafty lyric video below.
After touring around California this past summer, Thompson hopes to perform at college tours this fall. Other projects on the horizon include his first full-length album, but for now, be sure to follow him on his social media pages for news!
Thompson would also like to extend a special thanks to Brian Phillips (Production), Tyler Scott (Mix Engineer), Jake Knox (Bass), and Alex Bailey (Drums) for working with him on the track.
