Rime Arodaky Ready to Wear Rehearsal Collection

Parisian bridal designer Rime Arodaky recently introduced a Ready to Wear Rehearsal collection with her signature “rock’n’roll yet sophisticated” style millennials will love. The Arodaky rehearsal collection retails between $55 and $860 and offers a variety of options for the modern bride—opposite of the traditional route of a flowing bridal gown.

Although it is a rehearsal collection, soon-to-be brides who want to pull off a simple look with some edge are able to walk down the aisle in any of these pieces. The collection consists of dresses and jumpsuits with high-quality design while offering a more casual and comfortable wear.

“We’ve imagined pieces for the rehearsal dinner, reception, brunch, honeymoon, etc.,” said Arodaky.

Rime Arodaky started working as a junior designer in fashion houses such as Sonia Rykiel and Dice Kayek shortly after graduating from l’École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris. After Arodaky’s blog Lalovelist—a bridal wish list filled with inspirations and creations—became a divine success, she developed the Ready To Wear Collection. Her vision was “the liberated bride who’s sexy, edgy, as well as modern.” According to Arodaky, her ultimate goal was to “break the barrier of what a traditional bridal world is supposed to look like, one creation at a time.”

Most of Arodaky’s inspiration derives from icons in the ‘70s such as Jane Birkin and Romy Schneider—including designers like Yves Saint-Laurent and Azzedine Alaïa. With women’s liberation at heart and the “emancipation of millennials,” Arodaky’s campaigns have women embracing modernism and feeling confident in what they’re wearing. She also challenges the “image of the innocent, offense-less bride and turned hers into a wild femme.”

We want to accompany each and every bride-to-be, not only during her wedding day, but also throughout the whole experience.

“The Rime Arodaky bride can find a look for every occasion and feel like a total rockstar,” said Arodaky. “We want to accompany each and every bride-to-be, not only during her wedding day, but also throughout the whole experience.”

In addition to the rehearsal collection, Arodaky includes the Baby Rime capsule, a collection that offers delicate dresses that’ll make your little one look beautiful and feel comfortable.

“Undeniably elegant and feminine, the Rime Arodaky Rehearsal collection is the perfect addition to any bride-to-be’s wardrobe,” said the design team.

The collection gives millennials the confidence to skip the traditional route and be comfortable in modern and edgy looks. All collections are sold exclusively on the website and at selected online retailers such as Shopbop and Net-a-Porter.
