2015 is just about over now and I hope everyone had an amazing year following all of the latest fashion and beauty trends. From berry lips to accent braids, it’s not too early to run down what could be some really awesome Fashion and beauty trends for 2016. Let’s take a look.
Sexy wristlets for the tech in you
Let’s face it, most of us are on the go every single day working, shopping, running errands and well for me more shopping. I don’t know about you but my iPhone is my most important item when I’m on the go. I use it for everything from finding sales at my favorite stores, new restaurants, my calendar and I’m addicted to taking photos of anything and everything. For years, I would just throw it in my handbag and when I needed it, I’d have to scour through everything just to find it. Well those days are over. I recently found an irresistible Coach Wristlet at Macy’s that I can put my iPhone in along with my favorite lipstick and credit card holder and I am set! I absolutely love it and you will too. Fashion & wearable technology
When you think of fashion, I know that Apple, Google and Intel do not come to mind because for the most part, the wearable tech they’ve produced has been, well, not very fashionable. Some of the pieces have even been called “ugly.” However, fashion and wearable technology are on an unstoppable collision course at the moment. Every single day we see more and more technology being integrated with fashion, lifestyle and our personality. Maybe it’s just the perfect combination of tech and fashion that keeps us motivated to excel, push boundaries, and live our lives in unison with everything we do in our daily lives. 2016 will undoubtedly see further growth and development in fashion and wearable technology trends. Luxury brands such as Michael Kors and Tory Burch have recently launched products (including jewelry) that monitor our heart rate and charge our phones. I’m super excited to see the innovative ideas that fashion companies and designers alike come up with in 2016.
 Retro Fashion & Beauty Trends
Whether it’s my sixth sense or fashion intuition, I believe that 2016 will see continued trends of what “use to be” cool back in the day. Yep, I said it. In fact I’ve heard through the grape vine that the 90’s are expected to make a big comeback in spring 2016. We’ll have to wait and see but I can tell you 5 things off the top of my head that I believe are going to be awesome again in 2016. Half-length sleeves, chocker necklaces, (Rihanna was spotted rocking one this year), crimped hair, brown lip liner and dare I say it, my favorite throwback accessory of all time: Scrunchies.
While the end of the year is upon us, no need to fret. From the looks of things, we have a lot of incredible fashion and beauty trends to follow, blog about and even experiment with in 2016.
