Guardians of the Galaxy star Zoe Saldana is expecting twin boys!
The 36-year-old actress announced her pregnancy with husband Marco Perego this past July, and now, according to E! News, Saldana has not one but two babies on the way!
After E! News asked Saldana if she would be wearing a costume for Halloween this year, Saldana replied, “I might. I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice.”
This past weekend, Saldana told E! News, while she promoted her new movie The Book of Life that “she’s not worried about whether she’s ‘ready’ to become a mother.”
She stated, “It’s almost like a redundant question, because whether I’m ready for it or not, it’s inevitable. I’m there. I’m in it. So, I’m gonna have to be ready.”
Saldana also talked about how she’s been preparing for motherhood: “The one thing I keep telling myself is I don’t ever want to overflow my cup of patience. Trying to become an adult before I become a mother is very important to me, because I don’t want my bad day…to be my children’s price to pay. I definitely don’t want to do that.”
According to E! News, Saldana also hope to have a large family one day. She’s stated, “Four or five! I don’t care. They’re just so delicious. I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room of full yapping kids. But I’m a kid myself. I get along very well with animals and children. I dig them. I get them. They make perfect sense to me. A child speaks more sense than an adult half the time.”
Saldana is definitely getting her wish of a large family started. With two boys on the way, Saldana and Perego are going to be chasing around rugrats soon enough.
