Bonnie knows that you have to be receptive to letting love in before you’re actually ready to unlock the door. Save your emotional laundry for your therapist. “People who are prepared show up in accepting an introduction without giving us reason or an endless list of excuses about why not to accept the date. They have a positive attitude. They aren’t critical. They don’t find excuses why the match wasn’t for them and instead find the best in their ‘match’ or are excited about moving on and going on more dates.”
Start making plans for your future partner now, especially if you’re feeling lonely. “You haven’t met the person yet who you will fall madly and deeply in love with. Be open, write down a list of what you want to manifest, and the universe (as well as us matchmakers) will be your guide!” Bonnie reminds us that nothing is stopping anyone from building a life of fulfillment, regardless of relationship status. “Get a pet, volunteer, or do something kind daily, whether it be for a stranger or an acquaintance or in your own circle of friends and family.
