Singer/songwriter Jordan Corey has recently released her first official Christmas cover and video for “White Christmas”! The video, directed by Jay K. Raja and produced by Roth Rind, was shot in the Santa Cruz Mountains on Rind’s family Christmas tree farm near Corey’s hometown. Corey co-produced the song with her other good friend and music producer, Ian Sloane.
“I had never done a holiday song because the classics are so perfect and almost untouchable,” said Corey. “Our goal was to make this sound current, while maintaining those same warm and cozy vibes the song timelessly gives. I was really inspired by the ‘high school gospel choir’ sound—I think it’s so pure, imperfect, and powerful.”
And we couldn’t agree more.
The cover is available for FREE for fans to enjoy on Jordan Corey’s Soundcloud page, so head on over for your free download!
