Not only does the escape from a technology infested society prove excellent for your health, but the memories you’ll make will last a lifetime. I’ve put together a list of coveted tent-pitching plots where taking pictures, breathing and reflecting come as naturally as the rising sun. If you’re looking to tie up your summer with a stunning bow, plan on taking a trip to any of the following hot spots!
Olympic National Park, Washington

• Operates 16 front-country campgrounds with a total of over 900 sites
• Open year round
• Contains 3 different ecosystems: rainforest, beach, mountains
• Costs $15 per vehicle entrance fee, valid for 7 days
• Established campgrounds range from $10-$18 per night depending on season and location

Glacier National Park Montana

• There are 13 developed campgrounds with a combined 1,009 established sites
• Open year round
• Pristine forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains, and spectacular lakes.
• Over 700 miles of trails
• Campground available at the glacier that accommodates both vehicles and primitive camping
• Entrance fee vary by season from $15-$25 per car, valid for a week
• Campsites vary from $10-$23 per night during the summer season
Big Bend National Park Texas

• Park operates three developed campgrounds
• Hiking trails available which cover desert, mountain, and river terrain
• Raft, canoe and kayak on the Rio Grande
• $20 per vehicle entrance fee, valid for seven days
• Developed campgrounds cost $14 per site, per night and reservations are available
