If you haven’t heard yet, the YouTuber-turned-popstar Tori Kelly is the new face of William Rast (you know, the same William Rast that was founded by Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala in 2005?), and we think it’s about time. Back in October, Tori sent out a tweet announcing her big news to her trusted followers, along with the video ad campaign: a two-minute black-and-white clip featuring an absolutely flawless Tori Kelly with one handsome looking man and, oh yeah, clothes we want in our closet ASAP.
If you’re unfamiliar with William Rast, it’s “the denim culture brand for the ‘new America’, valued for delivering an edgy yet tailored collection of premium denim, ready to wear, tailoring, footwear, and accessories for both men and women.” What does that really mean? Fashionable clothing that you can wear almost anywhere and everywhere. Whether you’re going to run errands or you’re going on a special date, William Rast has got you covered.
Tori will be starring in the brand’s Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 campaign, and, based on the released promotional photos and video, expect to see a whole lot of fringe and leather. Our top choice would have to be the white studded fringe dress we snuck a peek at near the end of the promo vid. 2015 seems to be one really good year for Tori Kelly. Props to everyone over at William Rast who made us realize that Tori is undoubtedly the perfect candidate for this brand.
