With a theme like “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” this year’s Met Gala was sure to be an interesting one. With a combination of futuristic vibes and artistic seams, what we saw on the red carpet ranged from stunning to shocking to down-right gorgeous. While white was definitely a trending color, there were tons of metallics, long sleeves, and glittering accessories. Some celebrities stuck to the theme head-to-toe, while others played it safe (you still look cute, Michelle Williams), and some were just weird (Madonna, what were you thinking?). Although there were so many amazing looks, here are some of the best dressed looks at the 2016 Met Gala.
