How to Add Pantone’s Color of the Year into Your Wardrobe

Table of Contents

Now that we’re well into 2016, it’s time to bring in the color of the year—or shall we say… colors? Last year, Pantone chose Marsala, which was seen almost everywhere from lipsticks to clothing. This year, we are welcoming the dreamy Rose Quartz and Serenity into our lives. But, if you’re like me, you might be a bit stumped as to how to incorporate these shades into your everyday wardrobe, especially if you’re stuck in the “all black everything” mindset like I am. After tons of searching, here are some key pieces to add to your wardrobe to get in on the trend (and maybe even encourage you to add “wear more colors” to your New Year’s resolutions)!
Silky Smooth
The nice thing about these two colors is that they look absolutely flawless in silk. Whether you opt for the Serenity color or this Rose Quartz shade, you can’t go wrong by pairing it with black slacks, or even grey ones like the model!
