Rosalind Eleazar discovers her long-lost beau on a dating app in the trailer for Netflix‘s latest Harlan Coben adaptation Missing You.
The full trailer was released on Monday, starring Eleazar as detective Kat Donovan who specializes in Missing Persons cases. Eleven years ago, her fiancé Josh (Ashley Walters), the love of her life, vanished without a trace, and she hasn’t heard from him since.
Swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again. Josh’s unexpected reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.
The five-part limited series will be arriving on Netflix globally Jan. 1, 2025 following the wild popularity of Coben adaptation Fool Me Once, which was Netflix’s most-viewed TV show this year.
Richard Armitage, Sir Lenny Henry, Steve Pemberton, Jessica Plummer, Mary Malone, Lisa Faulkner and James Nesbitt will also star.
Missing You is produced by Quay Street Productions, part of ITV Studios. Coben serves as executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions.
In keeping with previous Coben adaptations, Missing You relocates the story from the U.S. to the U.K. Filming took place in and around Manchester and north England.
