The annual Billboard Music Awards doesn’t only spotlight the biggest names in music in one night, but also guarantees an interesting “pink” carpet. And while we thought this carpet was a lot “safer” than music’s other biggest night (remember Taylor Swift and Bella Hadid from this year’s Grammys?), there were still some stars that really shined. Black was a major trend this year, and we saw this in the form of curve-hugging gowns (all the ladies of Fifth Harmony), lacy cocktail dresses (Jessica Alba), and even pants (Serayah McNeill and Demi Lovato). But some celebrities also brought the color: Zendaya was beautiful in a nude Calvin Klein maxi skirt and matching bralette, Ciara glistened in a Philipp Plein dress and Casadei shoes, and Ariana Grande wore an intricate Versace dress which features pops of electric blue.
