Spring—the season where we start playing up our makeup and mixing in some bright colors. It’s also the season where we see the most rain. Rain can really put a damper on our day, and if we’re not prepared it can make a mess of us. You know what happens: the smudging, the running of the eyeliner and eye shadow… we start to look like we’re melting. To combat this problem, I found some amazing waterproof makeup!
Coverage: Physicians Formula Super BB Cream is lightweight with just the right amount of coverage, but if you’re trying to hide any blemishes or spots then pair it with NYX Waterproof Concealer.
Eyes: The thing about waterproof makeup is that a cream will usually withstand the rain. For eyeshadow, I recommend any color from the Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow by Maybelline. And we can’t forget the mascara, which is also by Maybelline, and it’s called Volum’Express Colossal Waterproof Mascara.
Blush: For this you can splurge on CARGO Water Resistant Blush, which will run you about thirty dollars, or you can go with NYX Cream Blush, which will run you about six dollars. Whichever one you choose, they are both really great and can hold up in any wet situations.
Lips: Of course, you are going to want to go with a lip stain. Some lip stains tend to make your lips look dry, so be careful when picking one out. There are tons of them to choose from but I would recommend using Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain.
