Spring Makeup Blossoming Colors

Table of Contents

Spring—it brings bright and lively colors to the end of our dull and cold winter season. Let’s follow in its footsteps and bring some gorgeous color into our makeup! The advantage about using bright colors around the eyes is that it’s the first thing people notice and it makes our eyes look a lot larger. Why stop there? There are so many products in stores that can help bring some color into your everyday look, whether you just want to add a little color or make a long-lasting impression. With that in mind, I have searched for and discovered some great trends we can use this spring. By Jasmine Moustafa

Watermelon Eyes

For this look, you will only need four products: liquid eye liner, highlighter, and high pigment pink and green eye shadows. This look is pretty easy to accomplish and it will leave your eyes looking great for spring. The shadows I recommend to pull this look together can be found in the Sephora makeup academy palette. For the liquid liner and the mascara, you can use liquid eyeliner by NYC and high impact mascara by Clinique, or just use your favorites.

Rainbow Eyes

Warning: if the eyeshadows are too close to the same color, the rainbow look will not be successful. I suggest using only four colors: pink, green, blue, and purple. You should use green and blue on the bottom lid and pink and purple on the top lid. The eye shadows you are using must have a high pigment or you will not see the vibrant colors. To top this look off, apply liquid eyeliner and mascara.

The Perfect Pink Lip

If you’re just looking to add a little color to your look, it can be achieved with the right lipstick. Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj will give you that perfect pink lip you’re looking for. This is a semi-matte lipstick, which means if you want it to sparkle, you will need to layer it with your favorite gloss.

The Best Blush

To bring some color and glow to your skin, I recommend using L’Oreal’s True Match blush, particularly in the shade Barely Blushing. This blush adds a peachy natural glow to an everyday look. It’s subtle, but fresh and light, making it great for spring.
