TRESemmé’s new hair collections

Just when we thought we couldn’t love TRESemmé more than we already do, the professional, affordable brand released two new collections for optimum hair care: the Renewal Hair & Scalp line (complete with shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner spray, and a scalp nourishing conditioning mask) and the 7 Day Keratin Smooth line (complete with shampoo, conditioner, and heat-activated treatment). Several washes and styles later, we have a full report about these new salon-gorgeous products.
First, the Renewal Hair & Scalp line. Designed specifically to promote healthier hair, this formula works right at the source of your hair’s foundation: your scalp. Active ingredients such as ginseng, tea tree oil, and sunflower seed oil target surface signs of damage and work to moisturize the scalp while leaving your hair soft and manageable. After shampooing and conditioning, top off your look with a few spritzes of the lightweight leave-in conditioner spray. Our recommendation? Apply the deep conditioning mask once a week (or more frequently, if you need the rescue) for extra softness and strength.
 
Is smooth, frizz-free hair what you crave? Then the 7 Day Keratin Smooth line is just right for you! Designed to work best with the heat from a flat iron using revolutionary Thermal Technology, the line promotes smoothness and humidity resistance without the damaging effects of permanent chemical treatments. The best part of all this? This lower-sulfate formula delivers long-lasting effects and maintains hair’s smoothness for up to seven days (or three washes). Start by first washing and conditioning hair, then separating wet hair into 3-6 sections (depending on how short, long, or thick your hair is). Then rub two pumps of the heat-activated treatment in your hands before distributing and combing through each section. Next, blow dry hair completely and activate the Thermal Technology with a flat iron over each section. Styled as desired.
