We’re always putting some new products in our hair to get it just right but a lot of these products are also doing some big damage. Over time some hair products leave our hair dull, lifeless and dry, which is a big no-no. So, what better way to revitalize our hair other than with  natural DIY hair care recipes and the best thing is that you can  find everything you need around the house? BY JASMINE MOUSTAFA

For Dry Hair:

If your hair is begging for hydration then I have just the recipe for you. You will need three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and two eggs. Mix it up as best as you can and massage it into your hair. Yes, it sounds a little messy but trust me, it works. After it has been sitting on your hair for 20 minutes, wash it out with warm water. You should repeat this process every month but after one try you’ll notice the difference.

For Flaky Scalp:

Not only does winter affect our skin but it does a quite bit of damage to our scalps. This recipe is great for people with itchy dry scalp. A half of a ripe banana, two tablespoons of honey and a few drops of almond oil. You’re going to want to mash this all up together. Massage it through your hair, put a shower cap on and let it soak for 20 minutes. Not only does it work but it smells really good.

For Oily Hair:

If your hair is naturally oily and just gets weighed down, you should definitely try this out. You’re going to need 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar and a lemon. You are going to grate the lemon peel into the vinegar and run it through your hair. Leave it in for about 15 minutes. It will absorb all the excess oils in your hair.
