Danielle Farrell Pushes Peak Fashion at Chaser Brand

Danielle Farrell’s love affair with fashion began on a warm Parisian night. Little did she know that was the beginning of her climbing her professional Everest. “When I was thirteen years old, my dad took me on my first trip to Paris and we took an evening stroll down the inspiring Avenue Montaigne where all the designer stores we lit up with the most beautiful items of clothing and accessories and the rest was history,” she says. “From that point on, I knew I wanted to be a fashion designer and have worked endlessly to be where I am today as the Head of Design for Chaser Brand.” The Bay Area is a thread that runs through all her clothing. “I grew up in San Francisco, California where fashion is very eccentric and heavily influenced by live music. So, I have always designed clothes that are a bit more bohemian with an edgy rock and roll influence.”

Danielle has many flowy and dreamy looks in mind for summer. Rummaging through your closet for a summer wedding? She’s got you covered. “The ‘Quisisana Maxi Dress’ in the ‘Watercolor Plaid Print’ is an effortlessly chic silky wardrobe staple inspired by my favorite vintage slip dress that can be dressed up for those summer weddings, as well as concerts with your friends with your favorite vintage leather jacket and boots.” Or kick back for a day of relaxation on the sand. “I have lived in Venice Beach for quite some time now, so when designing the Summer 23 collection, I made sure to make pieces that you can wear easily to the beach over your bathing suit to hit the town with your friends after. Any of the ‘Daisy Wave Print’ or ‘Pacific Coast Linen’ styles are beach day essentials, but my personal favorite beach day outfits would be the Silky Woven ‘Bocelli Button Down’ and ‘Amalfi Shorts’ over a bikini or the Pacific Coast Linen ‘Portofino Top’ and ‘Campania Trousers’ to have sunset drinks post-beach.”

Joining Chaser Brand represents a fusion of Danielle’s lifelong passions. “I have been wearing Chaser Brand band tee’s ever since I was in high school. So, when the Head of Design opportunity arose here in Los Angeles, I could not have been more excited, and felt it was full circle for me as a designer. Growing up listening to classic rock and now being able to design for all my favorite bands is such an honor and let’s just say…we have some exciting new collaborations on the way!” Chaser’s clientele is fittingly defined by her own rules. “I would say the ‘Chaser Girl’ is effortlessly cool, edgy, trendsetting, and of course a rock n roll music lover.” Danielle’s time at Chaser has given her the opportunity to hone new techniques. “I have been designing for Chaser Brand for officially one year now and have been experimenting with all their core butter soft fabric qualities, as well as sourcing new fun knits with special fabric dye treatments. So, I would have to say my favorite pieces right now are the Indigo Washed ‘Carnaby Tank Top’ and ‘Carnaby Shorts.’ These pieces are made in the softest cotton sweater knit and look like denim!” She will strive to scour the globe in search of the perfect outfit. “As my career in fashion continues to grow, I am constantly seeking inspiration and look forward to traveling the world to source new fabrics and learn new techniques to keep producing must-have elevated wardrobe essentials that are environmentally friendly and sustainably made.” Our closet will be revolutionized one garment at a time!
