Serena Page could soon be stepping into the haircare industry.

Page is the Season 6 winner of Peacock’s “Love Island USA” alongside her boyfriend, Kordell Beckham. As AFROTECH™ previously reported, the pair split a prize pool of $100,000 for their victory.

Since leaving the show’s villa, opportunities have been endless with partnerships that include NYX Cosmetics, Dunkin’ Donuts, Spotify, and Cécred.

During the ESSENCE GU Disruptor Summit held in Atlanta, GA, on Oct. 12, 2024, Page revealed that while she is in her influencer bag she hopes to step into her businesswoman era by 2025.

Her desires could materialize into leading her own haircare line, which is already in the works.

This wouldn’t be her first step into entrepreneurship as she ran a braiding business for four years when she attended the University of Texas at San Antonio. As a result of her experience, she aims for her target demographic to be Black women in college.

“I want something very easy and accessible for Black women, especially young Black women in college,” she explained at the Essence GU Disruptor Summit. “I knew when I was in college I didn’t have no money to do my hair. Yes, I braided hair. I had a braiding business for four years. That’s how I was kind of making a little money. Outside of that, you kinda gotta do your own hair.”

Page also shared some details on what fans can expect prior to its launch, adding, “Things to help with protective styles specifically as well. Maybe some mousse, maybe some edges, something that will make it easier on Black women to upkeep their hair.”

Winning in love, Beckham previously expressed to AFROTECH™ that Page’s victories have been a treat for him to witness as her cheerleader.

“I got my things that’s going on, but I really get a kick out of seeing other people’s lives change and other things that they have going on where it’s greatness for them, and that just makes me smile,” Beckham explained. “Especially, my girl. She got something going on, I love it. Every time she’ll tell me, and I’m like, ‘Yeah, you should do that.’ Supportive… When she getting that bread, that’s all I love. I like that. Seeing that smile on her face, just her happy life change and everything is different.”
