Druski has the content creation game on lock.

As previously reported by AFROTECH™, the Maryland native’s foray into comedy dates back to skits he shared on Instagram under the handle druski2funny. According to Forbes, he was known for his humor as the class clown at an early age, though it wasn’t always to the amusement of his teachers and parents.

“I think just being a class clown early on that’s what kind of grooved me in my career,” he told Forbes. “Sometimes when you’re young you really don’t know what your purpose is. But thankfully I have good parenting, so now we figured it out in the midst of all the craziness, but they don’t always support being a class clown while in school and being young. I had to figure it all out later in life. I came back to it, and I was like ‘All right this is my purpose.’”

Before his big break, Druski faced various challenges, leading him to work different jobs — some he was fired from, others he quit. He considered pursuing higher education and attended Georgia Southern University to study broadcast journalism, but later dropped out.

“I don’t think I’ve been that depressed in my life, other than the semester right before I left,” Druski told Complex. “I watched a lot of Steve Harvey, who talked a lot about jumping and taking [chances]. I was relating to what he was saying. I watched a lot of Gary [Vaynerchuk], Diddy, Kevin Hart, Will Smith.”

2020 would be the year that solidified the idea that all his past challenges had a higher purpose. Druski shared various skits that consistently went viral on Twitter (now known as X) and other social platforms. Complex reports that his videos averaged 1.5 million views on his page.

That same year, he also made a cameo in Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” video.

He has since remained a fixture in the comedy and content creation space, evidenced by his strong online presence with follower counts totaling 7.8 million on TikTok, 1.4 million on X, and 8.2 million on Instagram.

Druski’s bread and butter over the years has been Coulda Been Records, a talent show spoofing a record label. Investing in his projects, he has expanded his reach to include the debut of the television series “Coulda Been House,” which is set for its second season in November 2024, and the launch of Coulda Fest, a sold-out event held in September at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA.

“Can’t believe all this started from a Instagram Live,” he wrote on Instagram.

Druski is also the founder 4Lifers Entertainment and 4Lifers Sports Agency and has also been diving into his tech bag scoring partnerships with Google, Nike, PrizePicks, and Snapchat, Forbes notes.

For these reasons, Druski is ranked No. 11 on Forbes’s 2024 Top Creators list, with $12 million in earnings within the past 12 months alone.

Congrats Druski!
