Cliché Magazine is counting down to Christmas by sharing
12 holiday interviews with 12 amazing artists!

This time, we’re chatting with Celese “C.C” Spina of Little Hurricane about her holiday wish list, favorite Christmas song, and how she loves every single Christmas song (yes, even “Dominick the Christmas Donkey”).

Cliché: What is on your holiday wish list?
Celeste “C.C.” Spina: A pair of Matisse boots I’ve been fawning over for a few months and an 16″ steel drum. I have a feeling Santa can’t afford my taste.

If you haven’t yet, if you could perform a cover of any holiday song, what song would you cover and why?
We have done a few covers, but I’d love to do a duet of “Blue Christmas.” It’s one of my favorite sad Christmas songs.

Do you have any holiday traditions?
Not really any more. I don’t have family in California so each year is different.

What Christmas movie do you always find yourself watching no matter how many times you have seen it?
Christmas Vacation!

As a band, do you spend the holidays together?
It depends on the holiday and if we are working.

Everyone has a favorite holiday song, but which one makes you cringe?
I actually love them all. No lie. “Dominick the Christmas Donkey” is probably one of the most annoying Christmas songs, but I still love it.
