Living Lockets by Origami Owl

Bella, the founder of Origami Owl, had dreams of owning her own car by the age of sixteen, so at age fourteen she started selling lockets to her friends and family. Right from the start, her “business” took off like wildfire, and with some time and hard work, she now has Origami Owl. Origami Owl’s mission is to be “a force for good; to love, inspire,” and they do a great job with that by providing intricate hand-crafted charms and gorgeous containers. The fact that we get to personalize our own jewelry all the way down to the smallest detail is fabulous and fun.
Now, the Living Locket Valentine’s Day collection is here just in time for the holiday. Here’s how it works: it’s pretty much like “Build-A-Locket Workshop.” First, you start by choosing your own chain; they have over forty chains to choose from to help fit everyone’s style. Then, you choose your locket base. Origami Owl provides a couple of shapes that come in an array of colors and designs. After choosing those two base items, you are ready to fill your locket up with love!

Pink Hot Air Balloon:
A lovely hot air balloon ride for two? Any takers? The colors on this charm scream Valentine’s Day, and with its accent gems, it will take your Living Locket to new heights.

Expresso:
What better way to express your love for coffee than with this tasteful little charm? It will liven up any coffee lover’s locket. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Starbucks fan or a Dunkin Donuts kind of girl (like me); this is one cup of coffee we can all agree on.
Stardust:
Not only does Origami Owl carry charms, they also carry Stardust. These Swarovski Stardust crystals come in packets of ten. The color of the Stardust pictured here is Rose Gold, but they come in many other colors, and all of them are just as lovely.
Back Plate:
This is just one of the back plates that Origami Owl has available on their site. Depending on the size and shape of your locket, it will determine the size and shape of your back plate. Back plates are just another way you can add your own personal touch to your Living Locket.
