Investing in a coat this winter won’t only have you looking great, but you’ll be warm too!
The winter time can be lonesome for our trendy outfits since we have to cover them up with layers, but my favorite fashion piece this season is a fabulous coat. Many aren’t fans of wearing coats because they cover up outfits, but wearing a sleek coat completes an ensemble and leaves a very flattering silhouette. Here are a few types of essential coats I have in my closet.
We all love the softness of fur, but since no one wants to be on PETA’s hit list, a faux-fur coat is a must. Not only is a fur coat fun to wear, it may be a little flashy; you will definitely be catching people sneaking peeks. Nonetheless, be bold and brave enough to rock the fur trend.
A puffy down jacket is convenient since they are warm and waterproof. Try to pick one that has a faux-fur lined hood to keep your head dry and warm from the snow.
Leather and wool mixed coats are very in this season; burgundy shades look incredible when matched with leather. This fierce look will have you looking like you stepped right off the runway!
A black peacoat is a very chic and elegant piece that is crucial in everyone’s closet. A double-breasted peacoat, in particular, is iconic and can be dressed up or dressed down.
Editor’s Tip:
A little tip for my fashionistas: Try to pick out a coat with useful pockets so you can stash a pair of gloves in them!
