Give us the play-by-play of how you spend your time on a flight.
Depends on the flight! If it’s an overnight to Paris, I’m in cozy sweats and heel boots (yes, heels, always). I throw on a sleep mask, maybe have a little glass of wine, and use the first part of the flight to catch up on work before sneaking in a few hours of sleep.
Before landing, I do a quick change (usually into a midi-length silk skirt) because I’m always hitting the ground running…breakfast meetings, showroom appointments. Plus, a spritz of Secret Crush, a little lip tint, and I’m instantly in “Paris mode.”
What wellness essentials are in your purse or carry-on?
My phone, obviously. Then a hydrating face mist because planes are so drying, and our newest perfume, Secret Crush (I’m fully that person who re-spritzes before landing). There’s always a book I swear I’m going to read in my bag, but I usually end up working instead, plus a stack of magazines that keep me inspired. Oh, and I never travel without my Skinny Confidential Mint Roller and eye patches. They’re my go-tos for depuffing and a quick glow-up.
You’ve touched down for a holiday or a work weekend in a new city. What’s the first thing you’re doing when you check into your hotel?
I love diving straight into a new city. If it’s morning, it’s coffee first, always. And let’s just say my Mint Roller is my best friend for depuffing before the day begins. Then I have to unpack. I can’t relax until everything is out—my favorite pieces, my perfume, all the little things that make me feel like me. I love creating a little LoveShack moment in my hotel room, which instantly makes me feel at home and inspired. Once I’m settled, I change, freshen up, and hit the ground running. There’s nothing like that first-day energy.
What’s your ‘low effort, high vibe’ glam secret — something you do before a day out exploring or dinner that makes you feel like a 10/10 without doing the most? (LSF go-to dress, hair, makeup, etc.)
Honestly? It’s all about the vibe. I love changing into a look that feels inspired by whatever city or location I am in. A chic set in Paris, a flirty mini in Miami, something flowy by the beach…sets the tone immediately.
Walk us through your wind down routine. What are some of your favorite practices and evening rituals you can’t live without? How does your sleep routine change while traveling?
My wind down routine is pretty simple: I wash my face, then crawl into bed with an old movie (usually something related to the season or collection we’re working on) or my phone and scroll through imagery– it’s just how I relax. It helps me shut off my brain and get inspired all at once. Just me and a little quiet at the end of the day.
What’s your dream winter destination?
I used to be all about the beach for winter escapes — give me sunshine and I was happy. But lately, I’ve fallen in love with a true, snowy getaway. There’s just something so magical about it. Aspen has my heart (we opened a store there last year!), and it feels like the ultimate LoveShackFancy winter dream.
