We’ve all suffered through that devastating moment when you come to find that an earring is missing after a long night out. Although we may never wear it again, we have the habit of keeping them stashed away in our jewelry boxes. Here’s an idea, try wearing mismatched earrings. You can DIY or buy a, not so identical, pair. Look no further than your own jewelry box, or this could be an excuse to shop and splurge. Many celebrities have been spotted sporting the unconventional look.
©Steve GranitzIt always boils down to two routes, subtle and dramatic. When it comes to mismatched earrings you can elect either. If you’re weary of the trend, try a subtle look; pair two different studs together that make a cohesive look. If you’re feeling bold, pair a stud with a chandelier earring.
This trend is meant to be an attention grabber, so have fun with it. There really isn’t a way to miss the mark when it comes to mismatching. You can go to a department store, or rummage through your own pile of earrings and get creative. Mix and match however you please because the opportunities are endless.
