Table of Contents

With The 4th of July just around the corner, what do you have planned? If you want to ditch all the responsibilities and stress that goes along with hosting a 4th of July party, just don’t plan one. Instead you should look into 4th of July specials at restaurants, clubs, bars, the boardwalk or even an event your local community is celebrating. With all these options to choose from how do you know which ones to attend? Well, I have come up with a list of eight special places to hit for your 4th of July celebration in Miami.

America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park: This is definitely a place you want to bring the whole family to. You’ll be enjoying everything from live music, delicious food, and dancing, plus you’ll be surrounded by gorgeous scenery. You’ll never have a dull moment! The festival starts at 2 p.m. and by 9 p.m. you’ll have a great view of the fireworks.
Key Biscayne Fourth of July Parade: This event starts at 11 a.m. on July 4th  on Crandon Boulevard at 11 a.m. and will proceed south. This will be one experience that no one will forget. There will be tons of live music, food, and of course an array of floats. Speaking of floats, the Homemade Float Contest will also be taking place. Fireworks will also begin at 9 p.m., don’t miss them, it’s the best part.
Via Verdi Restaurant: Get your 50’s clothes out! On Tuesday July 1st Via Verdi will be hosting a Patriotic-Themed Retro Martini Party. It starts at 7 p.m. and concludes at 11 p.m. make sure you reserve online at http://www.viaverdimiami.com/rsvp/.
National Hotel Miami Beach BBQ Bash: Located on Miami Beach, there will be BBQ and drink specials at the Aqua Bar & Grill and other local hotels. I suggest renting a room for a few days to take full advantage of this celebration. Think about it, you’ll be able to lounge poolside, surrounded by palm trees and friends, while you watch the fireworks. The Miami Beach firework show will be located by Eighth Street and Ocean Drive and it starts at 9 p.m.
Hard Rock Café Party Boat: On July 2nd take this party boat that leaves out of Bayside, near the Hard Rock Cafe at 2:30 p.m. sharp and go sightseeing around Star Island for 20 minutes. Then the boat pulls up on an island where you can enjoy over five water sports. Doesn’t that sound fun? Plus sodas and snacks are included; beer and wine have an additional $3.00 charge.

Mekka: “Original Sin After Hours, Be Independent Event,  4th of July Edition.” Doors open at midnight on Thursday, July 3rd and the party goes on until noon on Friday morning. Join them for 12 long hours of music, drinks and fun; with tons of DJs and a special guest. This will sure be the greatest night. Make sure you RSVP tickets quick. Mekka is located at 950 NE 2nd Ave.
City of Aventura: Is having their 19th annual independence firework celebration. It will be a beautiful view for all and it’s the perfect time to take unforgettable selfies. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
South Beach Lady Yacht: On July 5 located at Bayfront Park, 301 N. Biscayne Boulevard, the South Beach Lady departs at 12:30 p.m. sharp. Here you will enjoy 4 levels of fun, VIP Areas, flat screen TV’s, a full bottle service, an open room dance floor, cash bars and a live DJ. This is an All-White party, so dress to impress.
