Cliché: Tell us about your character in a couple of sentences.
Micky Shiloah: Johnny is a part of Anthony’s mob family. He’s a bit of a jokester but a good guy.
Have you ever played this role in your own personal dating life?
I absolutely have not.
What do you like/dislike about your character?
I don’t dislike anything. He was very fun to play.
Tell us about your most memorable experience while shooting this series.
The most memorable experience was shooting the mob house scene. It was such a fun day, with all of these funny characters and talented actors. Such a blast.
How did you come to be a part of this project?
I got to be a part of this project because I was in our Director’s (Lauren Patrice Nadler) class.
What was it like working with your long time teacher wearing the director hat?
It was great working with Lauren. The environment was pure fun and she makes everybody so comfortable. It’s great to work with friends.
How collaborative or how much freedom did you have to “play” or improvise on the set?
We had a ton of freedom to improvise on set. Lauren is all about bringing your own energy to a character.
What was the funnest part of shooting this episode?
The whole episode was so much fun to shoot. We were on set all day and everybody was having a great time, laughing a lot. It was a great vibe, especially because we all knew each other and had been in class with each other.
