Sabrina Carpenter Wins Best Pop Vocal Album

Bless you, Sabrina Carpenter, you can say “hell” on CBS.

But the Short n’ Sweet artist found out during her first trip to the podium at the 2025 Grammys what you still cannot say in prime time, resulting in the bleeping of a certain heartfelt expletive.

“I’m still out of breath from the performance, so I really was not expecting this,” the glamorously attired singer said in winning her Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, one of her six nominations heading into the Feb. 2 ceremony. “And all of those nominees that were just on the screen are some of my favorite artists in the world, and I can’t believe I’m nominated against them or even in this room right now.

“This is, whoo, my first Grammys, so I’m gonna cry. But I wrote names so I wouldn’t forget on this napkin, and now it’s probably all messed up.” She’s also a winner for Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso” tonight. (See the full list of 2025 Grammy winners.)

The napkin held, though, Carpenter going on to thank the Recording Academy, “for having me and everyone here tonight, in celebration and in honor of everything that has happened. “I feel so lucky to be able to come together and do something so special and beautiful and celebrate music.”

Nothing wrong with saying that, of course.
