See what the stars wore to celebrate TV’s biggest night

The 75th Emmy Awards, hosted by actor and comedian Anthony Anderson, honored the best in television from the 2022-2023 season.

We might have just seen a few of these stars strut their stuff on the Golden Globes red carpet and at the Critics Choice Awards, but if there’s anything the last year has taught us, it’s that we should treasure these celebrity appearances while we can.

Selena Gomez

Only Murders in the Building star Selena Gomez wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown.

The Abbott Elementary writer, creator and star wore a tea-length Christian Dior haute couture gown. She told Laverne Cox that she likes to go “old-school glam sometimes” with her fashion choices.

Jenna Ortega was the second-youngest person to ever be nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She plays the straight-faced Wednesday Addams on Netflix, but on the silver carpet, she gushed to E! News about the “art piece” that is her look tonight.

Travis Barker and his wife, reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian, wore matching suits.

Sheryl Lee Ralph

Styled by her daughter, Emmy winner Sheryl Lee Ralph was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role on Abbott Elementary.

Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl, who won an Emmy for her role on Grey’s Anatomy and reunited with the show’s cast at the ceremony, wore one of her 27 dresses. This one was designed by Reem Acra.

Hannah Waddingham

Nominated for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Season 3 of Ted Lasso, Hannah Waddingham sparkled in a custom Marchesa. It was designed to match the color of her eyes.

Niecy Nash

Niecy Nash, who won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role in Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, sizzled in a black dress with matching gloves.

Anthony Anderson

Anthony Anderson, who hosted the ceremony, wore an embroidered tux.

Yellowjackets star Liv Hewson dropped out of Emmys consideration in response to the Television Academy’s gendered categories, telling Variety, “there’s not a place for me in the acting categories.” The nonbinary Australian actor was in attendance to support their nominated co-stars and embraced the no-shirt suit look on the silver carpet.
