This week marked the end of an era: Jay Leno’s final departure from hosting The Tonight Show. There have been endless amounts of jokes over the years pertaining to Jay’s first two attempted “departures,” but this one is definitely the final goodbye. During the last episode, Billy Crystal (Leno’s first ever guest on the Tonight Show) joined together with Kim Kardashian, Jack Black, Chris Paul, Sheryl Crow, Jim Parsons, Carol Burnett, and Oprah Winfrey to sing a fitting “So Long Farewell” to Leno (Eonline). With a final personal goodbye message from Leno himself, there was not a dry eye in the house (including mine). Here’s to a good retirement, Jay. It was a hilarious 22 years.
