Naya Rivera Written Out of Glee’s Fifth Season Finale

To all my fellow “Gleeks” and avid Glee fans out there, I have some very shocking news to share. Naya Rivera, better known as the show’s Santana Lopez, will not be making an appearance on the season 5 finale, set to air May 13th, entitled “The Rachel Berry Project”. Popwrapped owner Zachary Jaydon confirmed the news on Twitter Monday.



 
It was already uncertain whether Rivera would be returning at all for the musicals’ sixth season. The news comes after reports of ‘a major altercation’ occurring on the set between Naya and Lea Michelle on April 15. ”
They’re always icy to each other,” a source told US Weekly.
It is said that there is always a lot of tension on the set of the hit television show, and that behind the scenes Naya & Lea are both quite the divas. The news couldn’t have come at a more worse time for Rivera who just recently split from her ex fiance, rapper Big Sean. Naya Rivera written out of Glee’s fifth season finale?What does this news mean for the future of Glee? I guess we will all be saying farewell to Santana.
