Ever since the one-of-a-kind Joan Rivers passed this month, Hollywood has been missing the talented and saucy comedienne. Though she’s made everyone laugh, fans of her E! TV show, Fashion Police, may miss her the most. As a staple on the style-criticism-heavy show, Rivers was known for her quick wit and hilarious jabs. With Rivers’ absence, the E! network will need a strong personality to take her place as the unofficial leader of the Fashion Police pack.
That’s where feisty and fiery comedienne Kathy Griffin comes in. That’s right; according to The Hollywood Report, Kathy Griffin may join Fashion Police. A close personal friend of River’s, and a reality show veteran, Griffin would likely do Rivers proud as a replacement figure on Fashion Police.
Her appearance on the show as a regular is not confirmed, but, as Fashion Police will return on January 12 to cover the best and worst-dressed of the Golden Globes, E! producers will have to select a new comedian soon.
