Summer Scents
Ever notice how your favorite perfume smells a bit different in the summer? That’s because our skin chemistry changes in the summer, which means that a perfume you loved all winter long might only be alright for you during the summer. When looking for summer fragrances it is best to stick with natural scents such as floral, warm and citrus. If you’re still confused on where you should start that’s alright because I have come up with a list of summer fragrances you should try out.
1. Marc Jacobs Daisy: This is personally my absolute favorite scent. This lovely bottle contains a combination of refreshing lite floral fragrances. Marc Jacobs merges the scent of sweet strawberry, violet petals, gardenia and jasmine. Then he tops it all off with a small amount of cedar wood which gives the perfume a slight woody scent.
2. Marc Jacobs DOT: The first thing I noticed about this fragrance was that it smelled of fresh roses, red berries and cedar wood. This perfume smells much more traditional and sophisticated rather than lite and fresh. There is no doubt that DOT will leave a long lasting scent on your skin.
3. Burberry Summer: This scent is absolutely perfect for the summer if you’re looking for a crisp citrus smell. Burberry Summer contains a mixture of mandarin, pomegranate, lilies and cedar wood. The only downside about the perfume is that it is hard to find. Your best bet is buying it from a website such as amazon.com.
4. Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy: Viva La Juicy perfume has a very woody warm smell. If you’re the type of person who does not love floral aromas then Viva La Juicy would be the best choice for you. This gorgeous bottle contains captivating scents of caramel, vanilla, praline, jasmine and cedar wood.
