Beauty Crushes

Table of Contents

Beauty brands are notorious for launching new products each and every month. Amongst the hundreds of liners, lippies, blushes, bronzers, and other cosmetics, there are a few that have captured my beauty heart. Here are a few fabulous products of the moment that I have been crushing on and using like no tomorrow. Trust me, once you try these beauty babies out, you won’t want to put them down either. Holy grail purchases? I totally believe so! Check out our beauty crushes below!

(Beautyblender $19.95, www.sephora.com)

Blend It Out
It’s true that the Beautyblender has been in my beauty collection for quite some time now, as with many other beauty junkies out there. As of late, though, I have been using it non-stop—more than any of my other beauty tools at my reach. I love applying BB cream and blending out cream blush (and even bronzer) softly onto my skin with the Beautyblender slightly wet. It easily helps any product melt into my skin and appear as organic as possible.

(Drunk Elephant Umbra Sheer Physical Defense SPF 30, $38, www.sephora.com)

Elephant Love
Okay, I must admit that what drew me to this brand was the elephant logo. If you know me at all, you know I am literally obsessed with elephants. Luckily, this beauty brand not only has that adorable elephant logo, but skincare products that work wonders! I have been using the Drunk Elephant Umbra Sheer Physical Defense SPF 30 all summer and it has kept my facial skin sunburn- and redness-free! It is also super lightweight, not making my skin feel oily, sticky, or hot! That’s a check in my beauty book.

(Garnier Volume Extend Instant Bodifier Dry Shampoo $5.99, www.garnierusa.com)

Go Big or Go Home
I love a dependable dry shampoo product like no other girl out there. Not only does it allow you to make your hair last days without shampooing or conditioning, but it allows your hair’s natural oils to produce. Remember, you shouldn’t wash your hair every day, but more like every two or three days, especially if you have curls like me! I love Garnier’s original dry shampoo formula and have been trying out their Volume Extend Instant Bodifier Dry Shampoo, which I have equally fallen in love with. It keeps my curls wild and voluminous without having to wash them every day.

(Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette, $9.99, www.ulta.com)

Go Nude
The versatility of the Maybelline Blushed Nudes palette is limitless due to the pigmented colors provided in it. Whether you are going for a day or night look, it can easily be achieved with this eye-opener! The build in color is absolutely incredible and you can always come up with a new look every day. It has become my go-to palette of the summer!

(Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelée $22, www.sephora.com)

Cream Blush
A blush with a creamy formula is my go-to during the summer heat, since I find that they are easier to apply either lightly or intensely. They also last throughout the day without me having to reapply as much as I would with a powder blush. One of my favorite cream blushes is Josie Maran’s Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelée in Poppy Paradise. I adore the bright shade of this cream blush. It goes beautifully with my sun-kissed skin from these hot days!

(Hot Tools 1” Flipperless Gold Curling Wand $47.99, www.ulta.com)

Bring the Heat
Usually in the summer time, I stay away from using any type of heat on my hair for as long as possible. However, there are days where a bit of structure from a styling tool does create that extra ‘oomph.’ Always remember to use some type of heat protecting product before using heat against your hair. When I crave a bit more bounce in my curls, I spray heat protectant over them and then go in with a curling iron, curling a few pieces here and there in different directions. Then I just tousle them all out and am off on another adventure!
