“I like to help my patients relieve their stress and pressure. Different patients have different requests from me. To prepare the patient’s body ready for the next cycle, we divided it into 4 phases and focused on the dominant meridians in corresponding phases. In the first phase, we strengthen the kidney essences and spleen Qi which are prenatal and postnatal energy to promote and support follicle growth. During the second phase, we nourish kidney Yin
and essences to strengthen maturing follicles. In the third phase, we focus on tonifying kidney Yin and Yang to promote progesterone growth. To warm the Yang while it needs to nourish the Yin, Yang cannot live without Yin and vice versa. In the fourth phase, the liver is easily constrained. preading liver Qi and removing blood stasis are the key points to regulate the coming menstruation. If fertilized, we need to put an eye on boosting and tonifying the Qi and Blood to avoid miscarriage from lack of Qi and Blood. ” She said.
One of Yan’s patients had been struggling with infertility for years and had tried numerous doctors and methods without success. It was only after coming to Yan that the patient and her husband finally saw some hope for saving a family.
Under Yan’s care, the patient underwent a comprehensive treatment plan that incorporated acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Over the treatment of several months, Yan worked closely with the patient to address any underlying health concerns and support her body’s natural ability to conceive.
The patient’s dedication to the treatment plan and Yan’s expertise in traditional Chinese medicine paid off, and after just six months, the patient was thrilled to discover that she was pregnant. This news was a turning point for the patient and her husband, who were finally able to see the possibility of starting a family after years of disappointment and frustration.
